“Vyzantio” was established in the year 2000 as a result of its founder’s will to elevate Cypriot Cuisine and hospitality in combination with the excellent ambience created on an altimeter of 1500 metres, where the village of Prodromos is located.
The restaurant’s distinctive feature is the fine quality in taste which is personally inspected by its founder, always in cooperation with the best producers of the area so that all ingredients used are fresh and carefully selected.
“Vyzantio” embraces you from the very first moment of your arrival with a warm smile, always maintaining high quality service. Its spaces are beautifully decorated in a traditional style and attention is paid to every detail as far as cleanliness is concerned.
The second floor houses the wine tasting hall in a fully equipped wine storage room in which one can taste all wine varieties of the mountain region of Troodos, as well as the fine olive oil of Cyprus.
The Café-Restaurant is adjacent to the road leading from Prodromos to Troodos and from Prodromos to Platres, which also passes by the Monastery of Panagia Trikoukiotissa and the Monastery of Panagia Troodotissa.

“Vyzantio” is located in the square of the village of Prodromos and constitute an entry point to the historic Vereggaria Hotel which was built in 1930 and which constituted the favourite resort of royal families both from Europe and from all over the world.
