CH. ANAXGROUPwas established in October 1998 by Charis Anaxagoras, resident of the community of Tsakkistra which is located in the mountainous area of Cyprus.

While travelling in different places of the world, he learned just how important it is for every visitor to be able to experience the best features of each country and that one of them is food!!!

Introducing every visitor to the tastes and smells of the Cypriot Cuisine through the products of the Cyprus countryside became his vision.

To achieve his goal, he created his first Café – Restaurant called “VYZANTIO”,which is located in the area of Prodromos.

As of September 2012, a second café – restaurant called “MONTE CHRISTOU”, which is located in the village of Kakopetria, constitutes the latest addition to the group.

At the same time, the first floor of “Vyzantio” has been turned into a wine tasting venue aiming to elevate and project the quality of both Cypriot wine and Cypriot olive oil which are classified among the finest in Europe.

Moreover, CH. ANAXGROUPhasenteredthefieldofcherrycultivationinthevillageofTsakkistra. During the production period, the owner invites various groups to this specific area so that they can have the opportunity to pick cherries from the trees by themselves and taste this wonderful fruit!!

PLANS

CH. ANAXGROUP’sambition is to establish itself as the first restaurant chain of the mountainous region of Cyprus which will succeed in elevating the taste, hospitality and culture of this majestic island, one of the few places around the world with such religious and historical treasure!!!
